(1) By providing you with various tools to try. No well-being practice is one-size-fits-all, so you get to experiment with several, then narrow down to a few that work for you.

(2) Learning from someone with over 20 years of experience in the corporate world immediately provides a common language and understanding. (KPIs, Strategic Initiatives, Performance, P0s, anyone?

I'm bringing my expertise as someone with nearly two decades of experience in fast-paced, high-pressure, demanding executive roles working with the world's top manufacturers and retailers. I know what it's like to spend all day in strategy and planning meetings, put out fires, manage a team, play email catch-up, and do a fair share of my core work at night. All while juggling life with three school-aged boys with multiple year-round activities. I was feeling depleted, burned out, and confused why when I seemingly had it all, I wasn't feeling the overwhelming joy and happiness I knew I deserved.

Something had to change. I put myself first by studying the Science of Happiness, Positive Psychology, and Positive Intelligence. I realized that focusing on what brings me joy, implementing accessible and sustainable daily practices, setting boundaries, overcoming insecurities, and realizing my worth, led me to more happiness, calm, and clarity. This all while still having a high-pressure and demanding executive role. I want to share my learning with professional women like you.

Increasing happiness through mindfulness, savoring, and gratitude is the foundation for our coaching journey. I’ll teach you simple exercises to boost your mood in a few minutes throughout the day. We’ll talk about simple and practical steps to increase your happiness for the rest of your life. The tools we’ll practice are simple yet powerful, and the benefits continue to grow over time, so I want you to have these first.

One of the most powerful ways we can build resilience is by offering ourselves compassion. You might wonder, “What does compassion have to do with resilience?” Self-compassion is strongly associated with emotional well-being, coping with challenges, and lower levels of anxiety and depression. We’ll also spend time on overthinking and ruminating thoughts and various ways to stop those spirals to view things more objectively.

Imposter Syndrome, or having an Imposter Experience, is one of the most common challenges I hear from friends, clients, peers, and participants. We’ll dig into this topic, discuss how and when this tends to show up, and learn different practices to overcome those moments. We’ll also spend time examining some of the thoughts that hold us back, so we can raise awareness and learn how to develop more objective and realistic thoughts.

Learn why celebrating achievements is helpful for your career and personal life. Lean into centering activities around your core values and explore any fears preventing you from living a courageous life.

FAQs

What is Positive Psychology Coaching?

“Positive Psychology is the scientific study of human flourishing, and an applied approach to optimal functioning. It has also been defined as the study of strengths and virtues that enable individuals, communities and organisations to thrive.” (Gable & Haidt, 2005, Sheldon & King, 2001)

Positive Psychology Coaching is best explained as a mix of science and art. It’s a way of encouraging people to identify and use their individual strengths to their best advantage, to find meaning and long-lasting contentment in their life, to be resilient in the face of challenges, and to grow their bank of personal resources to find success – whatever that means to them.

Can you coach me to be happy all the time?

The short answer is no! And even if I could, I’d be doing you a massive disservice.

It’s not a realistic – or desirable – goal to wear rose-tinted glasses in every situation or to be permanently upbeat no matter what life throws at you. To strive towards this would be counterproductive as it would rule out much of the complexity and richness of life. As awful as they can be to experience, tragedy, trauma, break-ups, illness, and grief are all unavoidable parts of the human experience.

Positive Psychology in practice equips us to face life’s challenges head-on, develop grit and resilience, and be in the best possible place to bounce back and grow following difficult experiences. It is also a fantastic way to become aware of, appreciate and truly savor the many positive events, big and small, that can be found in our everyday lives.

How many sessions will I need?

It depends entirely on personal and professional goals. I offer three, six, and 12-hour packages (plus a free, 30-minute chemistry call).
